Proven Leadership

Mr. McRae is a proven leader and manager. Jay has direct and oversight experience of over 3,600 projects in the public and private sectors, full cycle from strategic planning to operations and maintenance. He has over a decade of experience of managing a profit and loss statement of various business units with increasing complexity of scope and scale. He brings national experience training and developing hundreds of project managers, program managers and principals/mid-level managers.

While in ODOT’s Region 2, improved on time deliver from 40% to 100% on time and reducing delivery costs by 25%. This accomplishment led to Jay being selected to manage the redesign of ODOT’s project selection and development processes which affected over 2500 employees and over 250 partner agencies, stakeholders and delivery partners.

While at CH2MHILL, Jay led the NW Transportation Region Management Team in achieving 20% year over year growth four years in a row and he also led N. America Transit & Rail from ENR ranking of #14 in total revenue to ENR ranking of #5 in two years while assimilating and integrating staff from two acquisitions with less than 5% attrition rate.
